Dream Home’s New Web Design

The Dream Home Lottery is a fundraiser that truly makes a difference! In 2011, funds raised will support the QEII Hospital Foundation and the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie community projects.

Image Design was hired to help the Lottery’s online image match its reputation. Big, bold, and luxurious! We launched the new site at the end of 2010. Check it out at WinADreamHome.ca. Online ticket purchasing will be enabled in early January.

Teepee Creek Stampede

The Teepee Creek Stampede celebrated its 4th year as a CPRA Pro Rodeo this year, and they’ve been going strong since 1917. Supporting the Stampede with a $1000 design credit, Image Design created an event program for them and other marketing materials that highlight the wild aspect of their events.

Camp Tamarack Updates

Working with Camp Tamarack this year has been amazing. They are an incredibly fun, easy-going, and pragmatic bunch that isn’t afraid to do things a little differently. We recently finished designing a website for them that will be launched soon, and we’ve created business cards, and name tags to match. We also completely revamped their logo – A process that left them with four unique designs to choose from. We’re looking forward to working more with them in the future!

Chamber Ball

This February, the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce hosted the Chamber Ball to celebrate their members and their achievements. Image Design donated $1000 to help them create custom save the date cards (pictured above), invitations, fax sheets, tent cards, and other marketing materials.

Alberta Arts Days GP

Image Design contributed to Alberta Arts Days this year by donating $1000 in design dollars to go towards the event’s promotional materials. We created their website, a program booklet, outdoor banners, posters, and bookmarks. It was a fantastic weekend!

GP Hospice Palliative Care Society’s new web design

Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society had Image Design create business cards for them earlier this year, and we are now coding design files for their new website. Stay tuned for their launch! We are proud to have sponsored a portion of this project.

GP Farmers’ Market Got a New Look This Year

With extensive building renovations and a new branding package created over summer, 2010 was an exciting year for the Grande Prairie Farmers’ Market. We created a new logo, business cards, magazine ads, and a website to freshen up their look, and we donated $1000 in design dollars for these projects.

Supporting those who support the community

The Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society is committed to establishing and continuing expert end-of-life care for community members with a terminal illness and providing support for their families. They came to Image Design earlier this year in need of a logo and a business card design, that incorporated both sunflower and butterfly imagery. To support their cause, we credited them $1,000 in design services as part of our 10th birthday $10,000 celebration mentioned in this page’s sidebar. gphospice.ca

Preserving a bit of local history

Several months ago, Image Design was approached by the Grande Prairie Museum with a very ambitious project.

If you scanned last Friday’s Daily Herald (May 28), you may have read that the Forbes Presbyterian Church and the GP Museum is commemorating the 100th year anniversary of the arrival of Alexander and Agnes Forbes’ to Grande Prairie.

These missionaries were instrumental in establishing the Presbyterian Church and health care services in the region when settlement here had barely begun. In 1911, their home even served as the region’s first official hospital! This building (the oldest in Grande Prairie) has been restored to its 1940s condition, and it is now open for the public to explore.

Image Design was responsible for researching, writing, and designing the information panels located inside. To help promote the Forbes’ captivating story, we donated $1,000 in design time as part of our 10th birthday $10,000 celebration (explained in our first post).

If you have a chance, we highly recommend swinging by 96 St. and 106 Ave. to check out the finished project. Call the Museum at 780-532-5482 for more info.

$10,000 to ten local non-profits

It’s Image Design’s 10th anniversary! To thank our community for a decade of support and business, we’ve decided to donate $1,000 each in design services to ten local non-profits. To date, seven organizations have come forward looking for help creating everything from logos and websites to invitation cards and event marketing materials. These projects have been extremely rewarding, and we look forward to sharing them with you here. Stay tuned!

If you know of a non-profit organization that you think could use our help, please email nan@imagedesignpros.com.
