Client: Mountain Man Adventures
Project: logo
Background: The Mountain Man is Tom Sallows, a local entrepreneur making and producing hunting videos that rival the best in the busniess. With 3 DVDs and a fourth in the making, his business shows no sign of slowing down. He and his team required a logo that reflected the caliber of their work while conveying the local, down to earth nature of their projects.
Outcome: The colours, custom illustration, and fonts used in the Mountain Man logo were chosen to reflect back-to-basics, relatable hunting adventures. It is extensively used to promote their company on hats as well as their DVD packaging and is widely recognized by Peace Country hunters and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Cool: The logo was inspired by a photo of Sallows on a mountain top with elk antlers strapped to his backpack.

Client: Peace River Air Show
Project: Logo and show program
Background: The Peace River Air Show is a biannual event that features professional stunt pilots from across North America. They came to us looking for a brand mark that would match the caliber of their shows and help them “take flight.”
Outcome: Pilot’s badges were the inspiration for this modern and tactile emblem that stands out from the competition.
Cool: The corresponding show program we designed won 2nd place in an international Air show marketing competition
Client: Northwest Wellness Centre
Project: VIP logo package
Background: Located downtown, the Northwest Wellness Centre health clinic is revolutionizing the way many Grande Prairie residents think about health care. With services ranging from acupucture to personal fitness training, they needed a logo that conveyed their holistic approaches to treatment and prevention as well as their credibility and professionalism.
Outcome: As with each VIP logo package we design, the Northwest Wellness Centre was given four logo concepts to choose from. Each logo was shown in multiple formats: colour and grayscale versions; one that would be appropriate for embroidery; horizontal and vertical layouts; and one for using on black backgrounds.
Cool: Components of mind, body, and spirit were symbolized in each petal of the lotus flower icon to reinforce Northwest Wellness Centre’s slogan.

Client: École Parkside School
Project: Logo
Background: École Parkside, as their name suggests, sits amidst towering poplar trees in Grande Prairie’s parkland city centre. It is the only school in the Grande Prairie Public School District to offer an early French Immersion program to students in kindergarten through Grade 6.
Outcome: To epitomize the youthful energy, the oportunity for growth, and the picturesque setting at École Parkside, Image Design created a vibrant, non-traditional logo that would appeal to students, staff, and parents alike.
Cool: The leaves of the logo were designed to change colours with the seasons to keep the brand mark relevant and interesting.
